These sessions are suitable for Primary and Secondary colleagues who are DSL and DDSL only.

Aimed at Designated Safeguarding Leads and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads, this session will provide a detailed overview of CPOMS by exploring the following functions:

• Setting up, implementing and maintaining safeguarding categories

• Recording a cause for concern and how to triage

• How to set up alerts and respond to queries raised

• How to determine which member of staff can be placed in user groups

• Using the planner

• Removing and adding a member of staff

Sessions:

Sessions will take place at the Outwood Institute of Education on the following days and times:

• Thursday 14th September 2023 (1:30pm - 4:00pm)

• Wednesday 18th October 2023 (2:00pm - 5:00pm at The Farworth Centre, Redcar)

• Thursday 18th January 2024 (1:30pm - 4:00pm)

• Monday 29th April 2024 (1:30pm - 4:00pm)
